Objective: REFRESH A BRAND TO BETTER RESTORE IT

CONTEXT:

 

SECO is the forerunner of surveying accessories. The brand, known in the USA, was considered old-fashioned. The style of the logo was old, unpolished and even clumsy. The director of the BU wanted to re-launch the brand.

ACTIONS UNDERTAKEN

ANALYSIS OF SECO VALUES

Through a global survey, I re-discovered the characteristics of the brand. SECO was perceived as a high-end brand with great potential

NEW BRANDINGG POLICY

Creation of a new branding policy reflecting its values and a new, more modern logo.
The glossy black was chosen as the base color to position the brand in the high-end.
Orange recalls the brand’s legacy.
A series of colored figurative icons specifies the targeted markets and breaks the austere black side.

PRODUCTS REBRANDING

I included the direction of the operations to rebrand
the different products (catalog of 1000 products). The work is done in 6 months thanks to the motivation of all the internal teams

NEW MARKETING COLLATERALS

A new website is introduced.
A series of new collaterals is created to enhance the brand
New merchandising tools are offered to distributors via a CD support.
An extranet site allows all our partners to access all these resources.

NEW CORPORATE VIDEO

Production of a corporate video using the graphic elements and emphasizing the values of the brand

NOUVELLE CHARTE GRAPHIQUE

Création d’une charte graphique reflétant ses valeurs et d’un nouveau logo plus moderne.
Le noir a été choisi comme couleur de base pour positionner la marque dans le haut de gamme.
L’orange rappelait l’historique de la marque.

NOUVEAUX SUPPORTS DE COMMUNICATION

Un nouveau site web est lancé.
Une série de nouveaux outils est créée pour mettre en valeur la marque.
De nouveaux outils de merchandising sont proposés aux distributeurs via un support CD.
Par la suite un site extranet permet à tous nos partenaires d’accéder à toutes ses ressources.

REMARQUAGE DES PRODUITS

J’ai inclus la direction des opérations pour remarquer
les différents produits (catalogue de 1000 produits).
